Whole Moo World milk is of the highest quality and made with love.
We harness that quality, whilst removing any harmful bacteria, by insisting our humans gently pasteurise in small batches. This means we heat the milk slowly, to a lower top temperature and keep it there for half an hour. Supermarket milk is blast pasteurised at a higher heat, for around 20 seconds, done simply as a cost & time saver, but we think results in changes to the taste. Think of Microwave vs Oven… When has cutting corners ever made anything better?
We also say no to homogenisation. This is simply more food processing, where the molecular structure of the milk is changed so the cream doesn’t separate and rise to the top. All these changes impact the nutrient value and makes digestion harder, not to mention it makes the taste and texture different! Look here humans, we made something amazing and that’s how it should remain!
Our milk travels only 2 miles to our Bodenham vending machine and is often ready to go into your bottles within 24 hours – Now that’s what we call fresh! Supermarket milk often travels many hundreds of miles and can take many days before it arrives in store. Sounds a bit silly doesn’t it?

*TOP TIP* Superfast, one of our chief moos - with an air for flair - helped design our beautiful glass bottles. Buying your milk in them stops single use and more plastic ending up in landfill! Superfast also insists they are a fashion statement and suggests using a spare as a vase for wildflowers – she is a character!
